NO! If your dogs paw is Infected, your dog needs a vet to properly clean out the area and prescribe Antibiotics to get rid of the Infection and possibly Pain Medication to help with the pain, before his paw gets worse than it already is.. How long has your dogs paw been this way? If the Infecion is not healing, then it must have been this way for a while and you should have already taken your dog to the vet, when you first noticed the Infection. You never use any kind of medication topically on your dog or give your dog any kind of medication orally, unless you speak directly to a vet and the vet tells you what medication to use and what dosage to give your dog, for your dogs weight. Take your dog to the vet and get her properly diagnosed and treated by a professional, who knows what they are doing.

Do you happen to live anywhere near the ocean? A salt water swim might do wonders for Glory's skin, since it is very healing. Can you take her to the beach? Afterward you should just rinse her off in fresh water with no soap. -- Regards, John Popelish

Try calling the vet that prescribed it and ask them.
