How do you choose Best Answer?

I shouldn't find it this hard but they're all so good...

Dang. See. Now there are a whole bunch of good answers to choose from.

I choose the one that answers the question best. Sometimes it's hard when there are several of them.
I especially hate it when someone gives me an awesome answer, but then another person adds on to what they say which is also just as awesome, so now it's like one great answer split into two. It would be easier if only one user wrote all that awesome stuff. Because now both answers are equally awesome, they're like each other's halves.

Also, a lot of people tend to do this but don't just go with the one that agrees with your views or likes what you like. You don't learn anything that way. Go with the one, like I said, that best answers THE QUESTION.

I generally choose BA from the answerers that frequently answer my question, because I like their style, I know it becomes difficult when many good answers come up, in which case, you can add an update saying why you haven't chosen a best answer. I choose those answers that just tell me what I'm looking for, you know, which "impress me" :)

If there are a lot of really good ones that I think are of equal quality I usually just pick the one that is longest or required the most effort. The longest answer is not always the better one, but if there are several that I see as equally good and choose the longest one as best, even though it is technically equal in quality to the others. It still has to be good though.

It kind of depends on the question.
If it's a serious question, I usually go for the person who put forth the most effort in answering it (unless they were way off or something)
If it's not, I either go with the answer that made me laugh, smile, or the person that I thought was most polite.
Have a good night!
