Graphic Design Degree now what?

I have ALOT going on in my head but going to try and make this short and to the point. I have my 4 year degree in Graphic Design along side with a minor in Business Administration. I acquired my degree in May 2010. I went straight to college for 4 years after highschool. It's been 5 years this month since I graduated college and I've been working average Joe jobs. I'm ready for a change/ focus in my life. I'm working myself to death to resolve debt and paying for an unused degree. My question would be.. Should I still pursue my degree as it's been 5 years since I've really focused on graphics. I feel as if I've forgot most of what I was taught by now. If so, which direction should I go? Or should I go back to school to continue my degree, but I don't know where to even go with such a degree? More courses, master's, etc.. My passions if it helps; Art, Photography, Psychology, Meteorology and Geography. I'm a very organized, detailed oriented type. Any guidance would be helpful. I'll choose a best answer. And please only serious opinions, everyone has been at that lost moment in their life.

Due to your interests I'd think a route to go is to have your own graphic design business. If you think you've lost some of the knowledge or want to keep updated, you may check online resources such as Coursera or even YouTube tutorials to get back on track.

I wonder if you can start your own freelance graphic design business (with website etc) or work in the design company. Send your resume to as many design companies as possible, and have a good portfolio.
