The best draft choice doesn't mean the same as a value pick. So I'd say the best draft choice of all time was Lawrence Taylor. He was a 10 time all pro, a 3 time defensive player of the year, an NFL MVP, and a game changer on defense.

Chicago Bears Hall of Famer Richard Dent was an 8th round pick (203rd overall) in 1983.
Green Bay's Bart Starr, who led the Packers to seven championships in his 15-year career, was drafted in the 17th round (200 overall) in 1956.
I'd take either of those players if I was putting a team together.

You mean this year, or all time.
I'd have to say Tom Brady would be close to the best all-time pick. Wasn't he a 6th round pick, now hes in the conversation as being the best QB ever.

Just based on talent the cowboys getting Randy Gregory where they did was a steal and getting La'el Collins who many thought was a first rounder as an undrafted FA was huge.

Barry Sanders.
