Who would you rate as the best first overall NFL draft pick?

Best meaning either best player, or produced the most championships, most influential or whatever.

Choose your own criteria, i guess.

Either best for the upcoming draft, or best ever. I'd like to hear opinions on both.

I am assuming you mean for this years draft:

Graham Harrell is the best for this years draft:

Winner of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (Top Senior QB in the nation).

Graham had Texas Tech tied for the big 12 south title this year which is ridiculous. His stats are also off the charts. Considering all the Heisman candidates will most likely be back next year he is also the logical choice.

Tebow may not go pro this year considering having another year of eligibility, Tebow is not considered to be NFL super star material by most scouts anyways (his style of play does not translate will into the NFL). Colt McCoy declared he will be at Texas next year. Sam Bradford is only a sophomore.

P.S. I am not saying Tebow is not NFL material it is just generally accepted by central scouting that he will not do as well once he is not on rigged teams playing Sun Belt/Division FCS powder puffs. HE WILL GO PRO!!! Just to be clear.

For the upcoming draft it's Michael Oher. It looks like the safest pick.

Best ever, it's hard to choose among Bruce Smith, Jim Plunkett, Terry Bradshaw, Peyton Manning, John Elway, Troy Aikman, Earl Campbell, Chuck Bednarik, Ron Yary.

Well it is a toss up between Elway and Manning.

But Troy Aikmen certainly has a case.

As much as I hate him...I would have to go with John Elway. Yeah, he lost at first, but he made up for it in the end.

I don't think it will happen, but I think that Chase Coffman, Missouri's tight end is the best college player in the country.

My prediction is Michael Crabtree from Texas Tech.

I absolutely hate Payton Manning but just ask yourself....Would the Colts win even half the games they played without him?
