Does Yahoo!Answers refuse to post questions about certain topics?

I have tried to post a question as a joke - nothing profane - but anyone in that category will get it because they have seen similar questions by the thousands. BUT, my question has been rejected several times by claims that the server to too busy. So this question is being posted as a test. If Answers accepts this, I will know it was purposefully rejecting my other question.

Yes clearly, Yahoo!Answers does in fact reject questions. Its proven by the fact that this question went right through in the first try while my other question was rejected 6 times with no explanation other than "Sorry, we can't take your question right now."

Yahoo filters out certain words and phrases in questions. A change of the wording can make a difference. The filters are automatic, a human doesn't look at the questions.

Several things can happen, but you are not being censored. Probably #4. But note, just posting joke questions is a violation of the rules.

1. If you take too long, you can lose the connection (type outside Yahoo and cut/paste to get around this)

2. You have exceeded your daily limit

3. You exceeded the character limit (is the box red?)

4. You have a bad cache file on your system, clean and reboot.

5. Just copy your question, refresh the page and paste it in again.

Sometimes when that happens, the question did submit, the problem is the next screen does not come up properly. It can also be a link you are using. Post without the link and add as an update.

Maybe you entered an unknown category or something if you were able to post this question and not your other one.
