Why no response from U.S. and Canadian Government with regard to the Walmart do better than closet competitor advertisement?

there is a flyer put out by Walmart stating will better any prices of their closest competitor.so i ask why neither Government has offered to take over the local Walmarts to demonstrate how much better they are.
Why not return Walmart to City and run as city subsidised storehouse for food.?
