Don't hold your breath waiting for this to be fixed, because it's NO GLITCH. Considering the overwhelming number of complaints and the length of time the problem has persisted, I believe it's *intentional.*

All the changes & revamps of the Answers section done in the past two years have been downgrades or reductions of services. YA is obviously a costly, troublesome feature and I've no doubt Yaw;Hoo would rather not have this section at all. So instead of just arbitrarily shutting it down, they keep whittling away at YA a little at a time, making it less accessible, less social & more transitory.

Is anyone actually naive enough think Ya-who *doesn't know* or is unaware of the situation? Of course they know! But they're remaining tight-lipped about it, because they can't risk revealing the Master Plan. The current "disappearing act" is just another tactic intended to discourage and drive away habitual, everyday users. Think how much money they'd save by doing away with this labor-intensive, high-maintenance section.

Many people have already tried to inform Yahoo! about the disappearing questions glitch over the past week. Several reports about this glitch have already been submitted to the Y!A "Bugs or Errors" forum, and the various other methods to contact Y!A support staff have also been tried.

But to the best of my knowledge, Yahoo! has not released any statement about the problem or when it will be resolved. I'm as perplexed as you that it has gone on this long.

As for the Yahoo! search engine compared to Google, let's just say there are very good reasons why Google overtook Yahoo! as the most popular search engine sometime in the early 2000s and has retained its dominance ever since. I haven't used Yahoo! search hardly at all since maybe 2001 or 2002.

Yahoo had been broken for a little over a week now; there's been no communication from yahoo about the problem at all. Users have been abandoning the forums.

HA . It's been broken a week. They've been told, they don't care. And don't tell me they're "working on it." It doesn't take a week to fix a known reoccurring java scroll issue.
