For a better hatch rate brine shrimp need 4 hours of light when you put them into the water. In other words, don't put them into the water right before you go to bed because light is required to trigger their hatching. Also, your water should have a salinity of 25. A lot of people on't realize brine shrimp are actually saltwater creatures. A pH of 8.0 or higher is recommended. Constant aeration is also recommend to get a better hatch rate. Just put an air stone and pump into their hatching tank. They should take 24-48 hours to hatch. If it takes longer, dump the water out and try again. You don't need light 24/7, just make sure they get 4 hours of light right after you put the eggs into the water.

They did not hatch. My brother turns off the light over the tank to sleep well but the light is on in the day. I put the triop eggs in the tank on sunday
