What kind of doctor do you see for trigger points?
I have trigger points all over. There is a large one on the inside of my elbow. Currently I am in Physical Therapy for an entrapped sciatic nerve, and there are trigger points all around the pyraformis muscle and others. It isn't my bones nor joints nor vessels. It's kind of nerves, since they get trapped. I just need to know what on earth kind of doctor to see? My GP sent me to physical therapy, but I want to know WHY I keep getting them and fix it.

the body's systems have many ways of being influenced temporarily. there are reflex points on the hands, the ears, the feet, the scalp, and elsewhere, and places that "switch off" , like circuit breakers, that can be turned back on temporarily by stimulating them. you can run acupuncture meridians to stimulate or inhibit energy flow on all the body's energy circuits, or use needles to do the same thing. however, while doing this may bring some temporary relief, it isn't the solution, because the breakers will keep switching off again as long as the main short circuit causing them to do so remains uncorrected. there is one source for all the energy imbalances, and unless you correct it, you're just wasting your time. that source is cord pressure due to vertebral subluxation in the upper neck. the only doctor that has the training to detect and correct it is an upper cervical specific chiropractor, such as an hio method practitioner.
