You have 2 grandfathers and 2 grandmothers, your parents parents.
You have 4 great grandfathers and 4 great grandmothers, the parents of your grandparents.
You have 8 great great grandfathers and 8 great great grandmothers, the parents of your great grandparents.

So, the father of any one of your great grandmothers is your great great grandfather.

Great great grandfather. You may want to download a free family tree program to make this easier. It will calculate the relationships for you.

I think other posters are complicating things here with too much information, so I may as well join the crowd.

Your great great grandfather's great great grandfather would be your great great great great great great grandfather. Does that make things clear? LOL.

Great, Great Grandfather.

He's your great great grandfather.
His father, "Ralph", is your great great great grandfather.
Ralph's father is your great great great great grandfather.

It gets hard to read, so we normally number them; 1st great grandfather/mother, 2nd great grandparent, 3rd great grandparent, and so on. We normally leave the "1st" off, too.

He's your great, great grandfather on your mother's side. Or, your maternal great, great grandfather.
