He wanted to wait until he gets his first client so he can have enough money to form an llc. He has two people that will be working with him. What advice do have for him starting his own business.

GET a library card and spend some months reading learning about how to become self-employed locally.

Forming an llc is very easy and inexpensive to do. If I'm not mistaking, you can form an llc online for as little as 110.00. This is very important and needs to be done ASAP.
From there, the next step would be to obtain an EIN (employer identification number). Very easy and free!
