Birth control for acne?

I have bad acne on my face and back. Like i'm pretty confident but sometimes I won't wash my hands in bathrooms (i will use hand sanitizer instaed) because I don't want to look at my face. I stopped wearing makeup and I started getting facials once a month but I think most of my acne is hormonal because I break out mostly the week before y period.
I heard that birth control works for acne and was wondering how I could ask my mom if I could try it. I'm worried that since I'm 15 she will think i just want to go have sex.

There is a simpler way without messing up your hormonal balance - Easy, one-step way to deal with cystic and all other forms of acne. Skincare for Acne and Acne scars – suitable for all skin types. Niapads® - Simple for Pimple™
Niacinamide (aka Niapads ®) anti-acne pads help keep acne away by scrubbing open clogged pores, oily residues and exfoliation. Feel a pimple coming? Just wet a pad, place it on the pimple and remove it when dry. Sit back and watch pimple disappear. Works on body acne too.
These pads also help reduce skin hyperpigmentation (acne scars) and increase skin hydration.
Use it and see the difference.

just be honest. your mom should know what sort of person you are, shouldn't she? if you're not the type of person to fool around with guys, i don't think she'd be worried you were just saying you wanted to pill for acne as an excuse to have sex. you can also mention that the pill helps with cramps and makes periods lighter too.
