So, is Facebook trying to clear out their minority users? They've started asking for government ID's from people.?

Crissy, this is a common thing now. I know it isn't a scam because the information was asked through my Facebook account when I signed in. As in, it wouldn't allow me to access my account. I suppose, if hacker hacked Facebook . . . again, then perhaps it was a scam. But I also got a message from Facebook telling me that I can have access to my account.

Daniel, it's none of their business if we choose to use a name that is or is not our own. It's pretty stupid to put your actual information on any social media account that isn't necessary for strictly professional purposes because hackers can and do hack into this information, and Facebook is one of the biggest offenders of recording and selling all of your habits, personality, thinking, feelings, and everything about you to the highest bidder, especially government.

No Facebook is trying to Prevent people from using Fake Names and people creating Fake Profiles of other people its a Serious Problem and also Facebook does not want people making more then 1 people when people Break the TOS Terms of Service Facebook Has to check to see who you are the only way they can do that is by asking for your Government Photo ID

I have never been asked that. If you have, then you are being scammed. They will not do that unless you claim your account has been compromised and they use the ID to verify who you are. So either you are scammed or part of a false rumor.
