I'm 44 years old, 5'8", never been in a serious relationship. Would a short loser like me have any chance of ever being in one? Or do guys like me usually live their entire lives alone and unloved?
BQ: Suppose, by some odd chance, a woman actually is interested in me. Then I question her as to why she is. I say "No one else has ever been into me, so I don't know why you are".

first off with that negativity you aint gonna get the pus... you don't need height 'cause you're pretty tall... some short mf out there are like 5'1" like the mexicans... so don't feel bad if you think you're short, most women want someone that 7 ft tall, but i'm sure someone out there shall settle... thank you

Hi, yes, you do have a chance. I'm a short girl 5' 2" and my last boyfriend was shorter than me! Height doesn't matter. If she likes you, she likes YOU.

There are plenty of women 5'8" or less that are looking for a guy, but they find confidence a bigger turn on than your opening line.

Find an activity you enjoy and can talk about intelligently, or signup to volunteer for a non-profit. Your problem isn't that you're short,it's that you are telling people they shouldn't be interested, and then you proceed to be dull to prove it. You can catch the eye of a girl, if you have something to offer. Be funny and generous and creative, and your height won't matter.

I don't think 5'8" is that short considering the average height of women is 5'4", and even if you were really short i have seen plenty of short guys who have girlfriends.
