Most Muslim country's don't have them and I remember when the Iraq government tried to have them people rioted. What's up with that?

Americans take letters, mailboxes, and mail delivery for granted, as part of everyday life. Unfortunately, the rest of the world (outside the well-off countries) don't have it so good. They are afraid people will steal the mail; the government can't afford to have a Postal Service; the level of education is nowhere near the USA; and letter-writing concerning complaints about government usually falls on deaf ears.
