will marine heat shrink protect from gasoline?

I had to install a new fuel pump for someone and I had to splice into the old wiring harness and solder a new harness for the fuel pump. I soldered the connections and sealed them over with marine heat shrink from harbor freight. is this safe for long term? as for today the truck ran fine but I dont know if I really made the right call using regular marine heat shrink. is it gasoline safe?

Ive never seen any heatshrink that will stand up to fuel Ive covered stripped bits of insulaton on fuel pump wires with Permatex Motoseal # 29132 before then put them in a day or 3 later

I don't know but you could run a field test.Put a piece in a jar of gasoline.
