Why does God punish humans for what Adam and Eve did.....?
This is Breakthrough's question but he still has me blocked.

Sinning is nice. And no, you can't just punish people Because They "sinned".
Madeleine
No child should be blamed for the "sins" of their parents that is unjust. "God" is not a fair or just God. I don't believe in the creation theory but God, is far from innocent and loving, so who is he to judge. He killed children in the Noah's Ark flood. Not to mention the child sacrifice in his name, who would follow a God like that?

He doesn’t. Broadly we reap what we sow
Or what those about us sow

It is the fact that they obtained the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Knowledge cannot be unlearned. It seems that once someone has this knowledge they become accountable for what they say and do. Knowledge is passed from generation to generation. The reason that God instructed Adam not to eat of the fruit of that tree is that He was aware of all of this. Adam and Eve brought the curse on themselves due to their disobedience. God only informed them of it.

God's punishment and teaching of His people chosen to receive His Word, His Law, His prophecies, and His Son is pretty much Old Testament material. It's very difficult to understand the Gospel without understanding why God would choose a people enslaved in Egypt to be His chosen race out of all the world without understanding the Preface -- Old Testament.
God doesn't punish humans the way you mean it. We punish ourselves by our own free will. God merely informs us of the wages of sin. Or disobedience to the Laws of Nature and Nature's God.
