Sinning is nice. And no, you can't just punish people Because They "sinned".

All of Adam's descendants (except for Jesus) are "chips" off of the same old, sinful "block". Any flaws in the original are automatically passed along to future generations. By the same "token", all can be redeemed by the saving power of one man, Jesus Christ. God knows what he is doing.

No child should be blamed for the "sins" of their parents that is unjust. "God" is not a fair or just God. I don't believe in the creation theory but God, is far from innocent and loving, so who is he to judge. He killed children in the Noah's Ark flood. Not to mention the child sacrifice in his name, who would follow a God like that?

He doesn’t. Broadly we reap what we sow

Or what those about us sow

The contract of the Old Testament has served its purpose and is no longer in effect. You are asking "Why DOES", instead of "Why DID".

"For because the children shared together in flesh and blood, he also shared in these things in the same form, so that by his death he would destroy the one who had held the authority of death, who is Satan",

The rule of the time were the fallen ( enslaved in Egypt ) God came and stared from all His creation so the may come to Peace, peace, peace.

    Aramaic Bible in Plain English

But we see that he is Yeshua, who became a little lower than the Angels for the suffering of his death, and glory and honor are placed upon his head, for God himself, by his grace, tasted death in the place of every person. Hebrews 2:9

.If you're going to change something you need to change >>> all involved<<<, and the changs was not a change but what was from the beginning that is not changed. God rested! do you believe this?

Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.

3For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said,

“AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH,

THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST,”

although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4 For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: “AND GOD RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS”; 5 and again in this passage, “THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST.” 6 Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience,

7 He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before,

“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,

    DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.”

It is the fact that they obtained the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Knowledge cannot be unlearned. It seems that once someone has this knowledge they become accountable for what they say and do. Knowledge is passed from generation to generation. The reason that God instructed Adam not to eat of the fruit of that tree is that He was aware of all of this. Adam and Eve brought the curse on themselves due to their disobedience. God only informed them of it.

God's punishment and teaching of His people chosen to receive His Word, His Law, His prophecies, and His Son is pretty much Old Testament material. It's very difficult to understand the Gospel without understanding why God would choose a people enslaved in Egypt to be His chosen race out of all the world without understanding the Preface -- Old Testament.

God doesn't punish humans the way you mean it. We punish ourselves by our own free will. God merely informs us of the wages of sin. Or disobedience to the Laws of Nature and Nature's God.
