I took a Benadryl that was 5 years past expire date.It made me drowsy but didnt help me. Any chance its still good. Discard ?

Medications don't turn toxic after they expire. They just lose potency, which explains why it wasn't effective. Benadryl is OTC and cheap. Just chuck the old stuff & go buy some that actually work.
