Do you think ex-President Trump didn't expect his followers to invade and occupy the US Capitol on Jan. 6?

Did he just not understand how violent some of alleged Trump supporters in the crowd actually were?  Was he surprised by what happen, even though some of these people had plotted before to invade the Michigan state capitol and arrest and executive Governor Whitmer?

He left the details to them, any means necessary to block the certification. When he saw the invasion unfolding on TV, he said he loved them and did nothing to stop them. Beyond his wildest dreams, maybe.

Trump didn't order them to do it; he's just being unfairly blamed for is so people can take his possessions, money, and social media accounts.  It is good to recite the rosary of the Virgin Mary for his safety.

I think even the rioters themselves did not expect they'd make it in so easily. This means a bunch of armed Muslim terrorists can get in too.

No i don't. He expected a peaceful protest which is what he asked them to do.

Trump expected them to kill off enough of the Senate to prevent certification of electoral votes.  Mitch McConnell was right - it was an insurrection, and it failed.
