Is it considered grounds for dismissal if I lie about having a criminal record online and telling my employer I do not have one?

I used to post lies about myself being a convicted pedophile online and was just wondering if my dismissal from one of my previous jobs had to do with me telling the employer I do not have a criminal record, which is correct. I am under the assumption they did assume I am a criminal and thought they could just dismiss me since they do not have access to my police record to see if I have any findings of guilt or convictions. I also found it suspicious why the supervisor would say I created some damage by associating myself with the company with those lies I posted about myself.

I do not have any findings of guilt or convictions recorded on my police record

I found it extremely unfair why the company treated me as if I was a criminal.

A criminal record is public record.
There is no way for you to hide anything if it exists.
You can be discharged for whatever reason they want.
You'd need to file a lawsuit to try to change a termination, whether it's proper or improper.

I'm just curious how a supervisor would have come across something from the internet and applied it to YOU??  You seem to be playing games.

There don't have to be any "grounds for dismissal". You can be fired for any reason or no reason. And claiming to be a convicted pedophile online shows at least poor judgement on your part.

Yes, falsification of a crime always is.

All I can tell you is that I'd fire you immediately if I found that out.

That depends on your employer.  "Grounds for dismissal" is whatever they deem.  In most states you are an "at will" employee and can be fired (or quit) at any time with or without reason.
