Mr and Mrs Smith is someone's favorite movie? Are you freakin' kidding me? That movie has all the cinematic merit of an infomercial. Good God.

The Big Lebowski. Shawshank Redemption is a close number 2.

Some good family movies are anything by Pixar, the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Willow, Neverending Story, The Dark Crystal... anything with lots of imagination.

The Godfather

Eloise At the Plaza, a very good children's book series and a wonderful family movie. Julie Andrews plays the nanny and she is as always delightful.

I love "50 first dates" its really funny and cute.
