First of all, pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion. Pro-choice means that you believe that it is every woman's right to have a choice to have one, if she decides to. It doesn't mean you would necessarily have one yourself, so it's often not related to when you think life begins. No matter when I think life begins, I believe that other women may think differently and therefore should be able to control their own lives without anyone's interference.

With that said, I think life begins once a fetus can survive on its own without the mother. I am pro-choice, but only pro-abortion in the first few months. I think if you can't decide to have an abortion in the first 3-5 months, you may want to keep the baby. However, I also believe that this should be every woman's personal choice.

Well what you are asking is just personal opinions and I can tell you I believe in the Freedom of Choice, as a woman it is my body and I should be allowed to do with it what I want, but when I was younger and found out I was pregnant, I didn't get an abortion, I went the adoption route. So I guess I can't really say when I think it begins but to me it starts with breathing air.

Based on the abortion laws of NYC, late term abortion is prohibited - over 21 weeks. Therefore it can be construed that the law of NYC recognizes life as beginning after 21 weeks.

And I do believe in a woman's right to her reproductive system.
