Yes, Chihuahua's have a serious mean streak. I've heard people say, 'if it was a big dog, they'd be deadly. Chihuahua's use to be known as the bred that has 'bit people more than any other bred.' They possibly still hold the record. LOL

NO I know a friend who raises Chihuahuas and none of them are that mean. They are just a bit... jumpy and small. I agree with the first answerer.

LOL your 5 pound Chihuahua probably cannot do much damage. Hell, if I weighed 5 lbs, I'd be a little edgy too.
