What happened after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt?

They had lived in captivity for so long, they didn't know how to live with the freedom which God granted them. The purpose of God's miracles to release the Israelites was so they could serve God. But B4 Moses could return from Mt Sinai with the tablets of Commandments, they had already made a golden calf idol! God wanted those He freed to die in the desert because of their abomination. It was only the descendants who crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land.

So, what is the lesson, here? God will not be mocked. Trash your idols.

If I'm not mistaken; He did wonders in the dessert. After that he went to a mount Tursina and recite to God. He wishes to upgrade his believe in God (Allah). Then Allah order him to take a bird and cut it into pieces. Moses did, he cuts the bird. Then, Allah order him to go down from the mountain and wait for the miracle downwards. Suddenly, Allah give the bird live again and the bird flew away. Moses surely confident rite now (becoz he actually was depressed for his peoples are rejecting his daa'wah/ summon to good). Moses then ask if he could see Allah. Allah grant him the wish. Then, Allah's light were appearing and Moses couldn't bear the lights of Allah, so he faint. When he woke up, he regret and also cries for forgiveness... Then, he went back to his peoples and continue his daa'wah coz he's confidence is thickening again.

they decided they didn't like the idea of taking their rightful land anymore, started mumbling and complaining about food, God gave them manna and quail, they found something else to mumble about, a hole tore open in the earth and swallowed a bunch of em, they shut up for a while, moses went to get the 10 commandments, they wanted someone to worship, aaron made a golden calf, moses flipped out, they sent 12 spies into their land, 10 were scared stiff, the people believed them over the other 2 who said God was on their side they had nothing to be afraid of,

basically their lack of faith in God caused a whole generation to miss out.

btw, the 2 spies were Joshua (moses's successor) and caleb.

the isrealites wandered the desert is kind of a metaphore, they were learning to trust and obey god, but they grew bored and disobeyed god and committed idol worship, where disaplined and received the commandments and than moses died, eventually they they found their way, read Exodus
