Where are the missionaries to the Christian churches?

When I was a mainstream denomination pew-warmer, all the 1-hour a week Christians like me (who were "good" people during the week, but indistinguishable from the moral heathens) were accepted. [For whatever $ contributions we make, evidently.] Why are there no missionaries in the mainline Christian denominations to wake-up the congregation members who are dead to living the faith? There were a lot like me in my church - how about yours [if you are Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc]? Why are the clergy, in general, so complacent about it?

The "missionaries" with the wake-up messages usually get kicked out.....or given a hard time....

Mediocracy is comfortable. You don't have to do anything. You can re-cycle your sermons once a year, and no one will care. The church is full of stale bread.....the pay is the same as fresh bread so why put out the effort..?

It is up to you personally to take your Bible in hand, read it, do what it says and try to wake up those around you to the truth. I'm praying for you now. I worship with members of the churches of Christ, so I recommend that you seek them out. However, there are many other alert Christians in other groups who can help you, if you can find them. May God bless you in your ministry.

This is the identification of the church of Laodicia. You can read how Jesus feels about them and His warning to them in my study below. I pray there will be one more revival before we leave, but I am not optimistic.
