Fellow teens, I need your help!?

I'm doing a cause-and-effect essay on how a hobby can help improve/keep your grades up. Does anybody have any personal experiences where having a hobby helped improve/keep your grades up? Please state your first name and the state where you live. Thanks for your help.

    leesa- pennsylvania i do me and some of my friends found a club for teens few miles from where we live. In order for us to go to the club twice a week we had to maintain c's in school and do our homework by the time we left. So we went to the club Tuesday's and Friday's so saturday we would all go to one persons house and study and same for on thursday's that way we knew what we were doing in school and still had fun! we still go but only on Fridays!! I hope this helped!
