Osmosis is the transformation of Water(h20) through a given cell.

What's the juice of this transformation?

By the difference of concentration in solutes on each side of membrane. H20 will always travel from the solute with high concentration through the given cell to the solute with the low concentration.

All Hypertonic and Hypotonic is,is describing which solution is more concentrated than the other:

Hypertonic-The given solution with the HIGHEST amount of concentration

Hypotonic- The given solution with the LOWEST amount of concentration

And of course Isotonic is when two solutes are compared, they have the same considerable amount of concentration

I found a site that has a nice Quicktime movie explaining both of those.

Next time try searching a little bit more
