Prince of the Sky

Prologue- Over the land of Vlaganara on the ninth month on the ninth day at 9:00 something happened, an eclipse of the rarest kind. All 8 planets lined up blocking all light. The Emperor of the sky, who only talks to the all female race of phoenix, sends his son through a lightning bolt to the ground near a phoenix village. As blue smoke and light drift away, a baby is revealed with a note.

Dear inhabitants of Vlaganara,

This is my son, Christopher. He is here to aid you in a great battle that will happen about 20 years from now. Almarn and his Seven Faithful will use dark magic to create war between your peace keepers, the elves. My son will rise to the challenge, for he is a great warrior. Until then he will be disguised as a transporter.

Twenty or so years later it has begun. The arguments have started at the elven capital of Selvin Rurel. Who should have leadership, should the inhabitants of Vlaganara vote or should their be a rotating colony leadership? The four different colonies of elves are secretly trying to gather allies but know one will join their cause because know one wants to get in the middle of an elven battle. There said to be fierce and terrifying. Only an elf would survive it. Also everyone is scared because if the peace keepers are fighting then they will be to busy to keep the peace and everything will be dragged into war with them.

A young elf of the Northern Colony who’s father is one of the ambassadors of the senate has realized what’s happening and on one freezing cold winter night, he sneaks away with intentions to gather everyone in Vlaganara and overthrow the elves before they make a decision that will ruin their world for eternity.

In ten minutes time guards were after him with orders to kill. Quil, the unsuspecting ambassadors’ son rides deep into the knight, his breath fogging up in front of him. He wrapped his cloak tighter around himself and kept riding. On and on the knight stretched, Quil was very tired but the eerie look of the dark wet forest made him keep going. After hours upon hours of riding the guards began to catch up to him. Quil heard a faint pounding. To any human it would nothing but forest noises but to Quils trained elf ears it was hoof beats, dulled by the muddy ground but still noticeable. Quil twisted in his saddle and through the trees he could make out three guards stringing there bows and knocking there arrows. Terrified Quil bent low over his horse and took a sharp turn into the forest and off the path. Leafy branches whipped and cut his face as he weaved in between the trees. The guards, now close behind him released their deadly stream of arrows that whistled past his ears dangerously, forcing him to change directions again. Then, before the guards turned the corner he leapt from his horse into the low hanging branches of a tree. They raced by without so much as a glimpse at Quils hiding spot. Once he confirmed they were gone he headed back the way he came in search of the road and the Transporter city.

why don't people ever want to accept the truth?

so... i have a friend. who is very nice. I'm so freaking out because I think he might ask me out... I don't want to ruin our friendship, but I don't want to let him down. How do you make a situation like this not awkward?

Why does everyone feel the need to argue about religion???

christianity especially...

why can't we pay attention to the real issues instead of bashing each other???

all I ever hear is bush is a liar, conservatives are stupid, liberals are a bunch of hippies, liberals have no morals, etc...

can't we respect each other at least enought to be civil and solve some real issues???

if we actually want peace we have to be able to work together or it will never ever work.

i want some music from his library but it says that it will delete all my music if I do. I was wondering if their is anyway that I can just pick some songs from my dad's that I like without deleting all of my music off my ipod.

everybody thinks that Christians are just these bad people before they even get to know them. they assume they know everything about christianity even though they don't practice it themselves. just because somebody isn't the same as everybody else doesn't mean they aren't worth listening to.

i bought some carmex for chapped lips and ive been using it for the past few days constantly...

but just yesterday my lips had this burning sensation and it has not gone away. has anyone heard of this before???

i looked at webMD and other sites but none helped me...

i doubt this is that serious, but i am curious becasue it is uncomfortable.

and my lips are burning as i type this..

many experts say they know all about children...

how can you know so much if you've never had children yourselves???

i just want to know how many actully have kids instead of just a degree...

i was spanked when i was a child when i did something that my parents had told me numerous times not to do...I have seen children who's parents dont really disipline their children and it seems like the child controls the parent more then the parent controlling the child...it just doesnt seem like other methods are as effective.

when kids are young spankings are necessary i think becasue the children are to young to be able to grasp more complicated concepts such as why you shouldnt take toys from other children and things like that. I think spankings show them if you do this there will be consequences.

what are your views on this???

ive heard time outs but i dont think they are as effective as spankings at a young age...

maybe with older children.

but I don't think very young children can always grasp these kinds of concepts...

when the world changed temperatures in the past didn't the inhibitants of the earth then most likely have somehting to do with global warming??? i just don't see why everyone is so freaked out about it. maybe this is suposed to happen. is it really even proven???

So many times he is in a car and ends up throwing up. What is the author saying or is it nothing??

some ppls say buffalo and some ppl say other stuff so yea.

i need to know a lot of stuff about osmosis and cell membranes and stuff like that so please help.
