how many child experts are actually parents???

I think this is a funny and insightful question.

One of the more famous "child experts" is/was Dr. Spock, for years an early proponent of not spanking children. That was until he had children, at which point he changed, and came to condone limited spanking, under certain circumstances.

I'm a parent and I in NO WAY consider myself an expert on the subject. I just know, so far, my kid's doing alright...so I help out when I can. If people want experts, they shouldn't be looking on a yahoo answer board.

And i did stay at a holiday inn express last night.

FIRST UP anyone who say they know all there is to know about children / childrearing is either a fool or a paranthetic liar...no two kids are the same or will they grow up to act / advance / mature the same as the other...the best one to grow your child is YOU tell the "child experts " to "kiss my )(&(_&_(&_(&_&((&(*&"

I doubt there are statistics on this. Perhaps they stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
