I have this problem also, carmex is the worst kind of lip balm to use if you have sensitive lips. when you use it, you can't stop. if you don't have it around, your lips feel so weird and you can't wait to put something on them. The best thing to use if you have this problem is Vaseline, and Avon also has some lip balm, its Moisture Therapy lip moisturizer. You want to find something that is clear, no coloring at all, no scent, and no menthol smell. Stay Away from the minty stuff, if somthing burns when you first put it on, don't continue to use it.

It's a good possibility you're just allergic to something in the carmex... obviously stop using it and switch to something else. I used Blistex Medicated chapstick, it feels really wet and smooth when you put it on and it's kind of minty. Good stuff.

If switching chapstick doesn't do it for you, go to a doctor.. meanwhile I'd probably avoid kissing anybody just to be absolutely safe.

You will have to consider a tingle in your lips while making use of plumper, that means the plumper is operating. If you consider agony, you will have to eliminate it considering that your lips could also be too touchy or you'll be allergic to the product.

First of all I am not sure why this is in the STD section. Second of all, you may have an allergy to the medicine. I would stop using it and try something else.

it could be the oral herpes virus...which is not caught through sex it is airborn. what i do is i put a lemon (cut) on my lips...it burns but it kills the germs and then the pain goes away although it does burn for a short peroid. but its better then cold soars breaking out! i also but anti bacertial hand selzer on my lips...dont swallow it though.

Allergic reaction, maybe? Ask a doctor.

    ouch...if it's burning...

try putting on petroleum jelly (vaseline)

at night before bed. it will calm your lips...

if it continues...i'd see a doctor, it may be serious.
