How can I clean and preserve a wedding dress without taking it to the cleaners and spending loads of money?
I put this question in earlier this week, but it didn't get anywhere. The dress is ivory in color, satin and tafetta, has pearls, sequins and rhinestones. It's absolutely gorgeous. This was my dress, and I want to pass it down to my 16 year old. Please help!

I know nothing about wedding dresses, but the tips at [1] seem genuine enough. I think you'll still have to part with some cash though.
