How can I prevent inteference between mobile phone and computer speakers?

My phone is a Motorola V551. Everytime make/receive a call or when I receive an SMS, there is some interference between my cell phone and my computer speakers. What is causing that and how can I prevent it aside from staying away from the computer when i'm on the phone?

I had the same trouble with my Motorola I730. What you are hearing is the GSM data burst signal which is within the range of human hearing. There is nothing wrong with your phone or your speakers, the problem is in the unshielded wire that connects the computer to the speakers....I switched to shielded co-ax cable and the interference is gone.

    Hope this helps.
