Can you name places like Rockefeller Center?
I have been to Rockefeller Center and I want to know about other places in the world that are like that in the sense that it's a popular public space in the city and many people (locals and tourists) are attracted to.
3 AnswersOther - Destinations1 decade agoWhich video card should I get?
I am in the market for a new computer. I figured out every component except for the graphic card. By the way, is there a difference between graphic card and video card?
I was thinking of getting the 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE, but I want many second opinions.
I want to be able to use two monitors which will both have a resolution of at least 1280x1024. I often use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign all at once. There is a possibility that a software like 3D Studio Max or Autocad will be open along with the three I already mentioned.
So, is the 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE right for me? If not, which card is better for my requirements?
3 AnswersOther - Hardware2 decades agodon't you prefer it when the Email Question and Add to watchlist were below the question?
Well, I do, because now, the question including its description just look cramped. As a web designer myself, that's just bad design decision.
I appreciate the fact that they tried to add a little more graphics around that part, but that's definitely not the way to go. The question should take the width it used to since it's the most important thing on the page.
4 AnswersYahoo Answers2 decades agoWhat's the best protection for a computer?
I'd like to know the best of each. Like best internet security, best antivirus, best antispyware, best antispam, best firewall... Don't tell me to install everything I find, I want to protect my computer without turning anything about it into a turtle.
7 AnswersSecurity2 decades agoHow can I prevent inteference between mobile phone and computer speakers?
My phone is a Motorola V551. Everytime make/receive a call or when I receive an SMS, there is some interference between my cell phone and my computer speakers. What is causing that and how can I prevent it aside from staying away from the computer when i'm on the phone?
3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans2 decades agoWhat is the most important room in your house or apartment?
This is a variation of a question that was asked here. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am4gX...
I believe there is a line between "favorite" and "most important". I let it up to you to define that line. When you answer, I'd like to know how old you are and if you are male or female. If you can also why you make your choice, that would be great.
I'm an architecture student and this will help me a lot. Thank you.
13 AnswersCultures & Groups2 decades agoIs there such thing as movies for kids?
I'm talking about movies that make it to the theater. I hear (and read) people saying that Disney movies are for kid, animation are for kids and don't even start with Harry Potter, but what is so "kiddish" about any movie? I do mean any.
2 AnswersMovies2 decades agoWhat was the most painful thing that ever happened to you, emotionally?
If the most painful thing is too personal just go for the one that you are willing to share.
For me, it was the death of a family member.
7 AnswersOther - Business & Finance2 decades agoIs there a way to check whether an email exists without sending an email?
I've received pretty interesting email. Normally, I am very efficient at recognizing a spam, there is this one email which I'm not sure about. How can I check if the email address really exists?
