How soon can you get pregnant after having a baby??????

I know as soon as you start ovulating, but usually how long does that take?

It is not for me. I have a freind who thinks he got a girl pregnant who just had a baby.

    well you can very quickly my son was born may 13 2001 and my daughter was born sep 12, 2002 some people do not then some people do

    why would you want to get pregnant that soon afterwords???

    Most doctors worth anything will tell you that you should wait at least 18 months between children to allow your body to heal. It lessens the risks for both the mother and the next child.

    Besides, don't you want to spend baby time with each of your children???

    right away if thats what you choose to do, you are very fertile after just having a baby

    Not when you're breastfeeding. Apparently, its a natural contraceptive. I think as long as you have your period after childbirth would be a good indication.
