    "Attentional Sight," according to the Future Catalyst website. It's the opposite of "Inattentional Blindness" in which we fail to see something that should be very obvious because we are concentrating on something else.

    There's a really cool example of inattentional blindness at the second website. It works like this: There are two groups of people passing basketballs around. One group is wearing white shirts, the other black. Count how many times the white shirted group passes the basketball. The video requires Java and takes a couple of minutes to load. After you've watched the video, go to the third website for the explanation. Scroll down to the "Experiments..." section.
