God, if one is in right standing with Him, provides for us in the best way for us. He answers prayers, but He does not do so necessarily the way we would like Him to.
As far as our wants, God knows our needs and that sometimes our wants interfere with our needs.
The key is to get in right standing with God and then trust Him to know and provide what is necessary for you to prosper spiritually in your life.

God answers prayers YES when our needs and His timing for our needs coincide. Some of the time we don't realize He is answering because we don't look or listen. We have eyes but we don't see and we have ears but we don't listen.
God answers some prayers with NO you don't need this. How many times when I look back am I glad He said no. I would be in so much trouble now if He would have said yes. And in His wisdom He knew that. So I thank God for those that were answered no.
God also answers some prayers with AT A LATER TIME. God knows you need this but the timing is wrong. God will do things for us but in His timing.
God answers some prayers with MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT. I have found that almost all of the time when we really think things through, this is the answer we deserve most. His Grace supplies so much more than we could ever deserve.
He will supply all of our needs in His time if we just put matters in His hands.

There are three possibilities when a prayer is made:
1. The prayer is answered immediately.
2. God delays answering the prayer because He loves to hear His servant call upon Him.
3. The servant is not given in this life, but in the next.
When people see what has accumulated for them as a result of what they were not given, they will wish they were given nothing in this life.

God does not always give us what we want. Haven't you noticed that? Prayer is much more about relationship than about getting. People who pray generally express their affection for God, confess their transgressions, give thanks for what they have, make requests (which is ok, just don't expect to ask for stupid stuff and get it), and acknowledge their willingness to accept what God desires. There is an acronym that some people use to organize their prayers.
A adoration
C confession
T thanksgiving
S supplication
S submission
I don't think this violates the tenets of any of the major religious groups, but hey, I'm not an expert on this. Just a guy trying to give useful answers.

I would like to win a million dollars. But God knows this would be bad for me because I would love all those things I could buy more than Him. He gives me what I need, Not spoil me with what I want. He answers all my prayers in His own righteous way.

God always answeres our prayers but sometimes He does not answer them the way we want him to. God is a perfect roll model for a father...........He gives us what we need so therefor we don't always get what we want. God knows what is best for us.

God doesn't always give us what we want, he knows what's best for us and he knows what we can bare. He does answer prayers, depending on if he believes you really need what your asking for or if it's going to help you in the long run. Just believe and you'll see one day.

GOD WHO's conciousness shines in every particle resides in the inside infinity of existance.
The mind ponders over external behaviour and thinks about the result of its actions and reactions .
Planet earth represents you can say in human lanuage God for all the human race.Although earth is like an electron in the universes.
Such is the vast ness of GOD which is away from the human mind.
It is certain that every action is recorded and we will find counsel with our GOD inside the womb of every particle on this planet where we were created and will be absorbed back.
Your past , present is known and your future will be the out come of your actions.
GOD, ALLAH or what ever your human language pleases you to call knows every thought which passes through your mind. Mraju69@yahh

If you believe in god, then you owe it to yourself to find a way to answer your own prayers. god isn't one to give handouts either. (otherwise there would be no such thing as tithe). Find a way to put yourself in a position to attain your goals.
Life is like hockey, try to be in the right spot at the right time and you've greatly increased your chance of scoring!

God answers all our prayers. However, sometimes he answers them by saying no.
