We usually have our bonfires on Hallowe'en (Oct. 31) in Canada.

Americans go one better than fireworks and explosives on bonfire night, since Bush has been in power they blow something up everyday!
P.s Isn't that taking a celebration a bit far?

No, Sweety. Not here in America, but it sounds like fun. I've heard of it but I've not ever seen it done here. Too bad to, because we love any reason at all to celebrate. (Except for like Osama Bin Butt-Face's birthday of course! His execution day might turn into something if and when we get the hairy little gutter-rat). PS. I like your Avatar Honey, but it looks like you're about to sneeze. Don't worry, I've got a hankie.LOL =)

No. Never heard of it. We set off fireworks on the 4th of July (Independence Day), and Januar 1st (New Years).
