    NONE of them!

The Bible is explicit. We are taught in our Torah that no one can die for the sins of another. In Deuteronomy 24:16 it specifically says this:

Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not

be put to death for the children, neither

shall the children be put to death for

    the fathers:

every man shall be put to death for his

    own sin.(eesh b'chet-o yumatu)

In Exodus 32:30-35, Moses tries to offer himself to atone for the sins of the people. To be written out of Gd's book, means to be written out of the Book of Life, which means Moses was asking to die for the sins of the People. Gd's response is No, it does not work that way, each man dies for his own sin:

Exodus 32:30-35 And it came to pass on the

morrow, that Moses said unto the people,

Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will

go up unto the Etrnl; perhaps I shall make

an atonement for your sin. And Moses

returned unto the Etrnl, and said, Oh,

this people have sinned a great sin, and

have made them gods of gold. Yet now, if

thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not,

blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book

    which thou hast written.

And the Etrnl said unto Moses, Whosoever

hath sinned against me, him will I blot

    out of my book.

The whole of chapter 18 of the book of Ezekiel is about this idea, that no one can die for someone else's sin. Further, this chapter of Ezekiel teaches us that all we have to do for Gd's forgiveness is to stop doing the Bad and start doing the Good, and Gd will forgive us.

    Ezekiel 18:4,20 Behold, all souls are mine;

as the soul of the father, so also the soul

of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth,

it shall die. 20 The soul that sinneth, it

shall die. The son shall not bear the

iniquity of the father, neither shall the

father bear the iniquity of the son: the

righteousness of the righteous shall be upon

him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall

    be upon him.

So, the Bible is clear, no one can die for the sins of another, and this means that Jesus cannot die for anyone else's sins.

Jesus paid for ALL mistakes (Sin)

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is like this; Say you kill someone (Drastic Example) you go to Court and they give you the Death Penalty! Then a man (We will call him Jesus) comes forward and says; "The LAW specifies that a person can take the place of another in serving the Death penalty, I wish to Die in this man's place!" So, Jesus serves your sentance and you go free! ;-)

In the Old Testament, we read of Animal Sacrifices for peoples Sins, Blood! The problem, they were not permanent! God knew this and Sent us Christ Jesus, Who, by LAW takes our place in the Death penalty. BUT, you have to Believe in this Promise that Jesus has the Legal Right to take your place. Tried to make this simple.

What if I said that you could do whatever you wanted to do to me, publicly, on tv if you wanted, as long as you do it with the stipulation that everyone knows i did it for them.

then I may have caused those same people to give second thought to some of the most simple, yet crucial ideas.

I suggest you try some sort of sacrafice and see if the result is worth the effort.

The failure to life a Godly lifestyle; failure to life up to His standard for eternal life. Sin is the transgression against God's Law/HIs will.

Those who know the Good Shepherd, know His voice, & follow Him. He led the way to the narrow gate & straight path - He was sinless and lived a 100% Torah-observant life as an example for us to follow also.

His people accept the free gift of His Salvation, confess their sins, make amends, lead a transformed life, accept not only His Salvation, but also accept His Lordship & seek to do Hs will "on earth as it is in heaven."

As much as the faithful believers love God & love His Law, they are not perfect and fall short of being able to save themselves. By God's Grace, the faithful are deemed Righteous - as Righteous as the Ultimate Passover Lamb of God - and will receive eternal life with God because the Suffering Messiah's death paid for all sins in full; His resurrection as the Victorious Messiah proved His dominion over Satan & over death.

The small detail which confuses many people is that ALL the sins of the world, past-to-future, are forgiven... but not ALL people will be saved - Salvation is available to ALL who accept God's Salvation Covenant. Inexplicably, many are willful & go their own way, do their own will; many have only a mental belief w/o the faith to follow His will; many don't even believe or care... they choose their own Judgment.

God is Fair & Just - those who do not love Him & His Law will not be forced to endure worshiping Him and living under His Law in Paradise for all eternity. Those who love Him & His Law will be given a circumcised heart with God's Law written on it & will have the ability to follow God's Law perfectly in heaven.

In the Bible, it is said that Jesus washed away all our sins with the shedding of his blood (rough quote) and hence, those who believe in him will be granted eternal life. Something to that extent.

Source(s): Btw, I'm no Christian. I simply enjoy the study of religions.

    All of them!

No matter how hard we try, not even one person can be perfect like God.

All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.

That is why God gives us the "Free Gift" of salvation.

    How cool is that!
