The system beleives in the reason behind and not the act itself.
Yes there could be instances when stealing is not wrong at all.

Hurrincane incidents, like what happened with Katrina--as long as it's only what you need.
If you're stealing stolen goods to return to the people that were robbed
A Robin Hood type thing

Yeah if it is a last resort for survival or equal importance, and what are you are taking does directly cause harm to someone who may need it. (Ex. Don't take somebody else's meds) Definitly, wrong to steal 99% of the time though.

If you call something stealing it implies that it is wrong. Sometimes people must take what they need for survival. Absolute need should trump ownership in a humane society.

I think you have just got to go with your instincts.
I dont steal from people but I wouldnt rule out anything who knows what the future holds.It isnt an issue at the moment so???????????

In an emergency situation like the one we had in New Orleans it was okay to borrow...
Just as long as after it was all over you paid back the owner...
That was just borrowing in a time of great need...

if there was an emergency situation, like in new orleans,and you had to steal food,it's okay.i mean,if it was like tvs or soemthing,you don't have a good excuse for that,so that's not okay.but when it's for your survival,it's okay.
