    Caesar is a likely suspect, but noone knows for sure. Plutarch puts the blame on Caesar, but not that he burned the library on purpose, more of an accident during his pursuit of Pompey.

    Every one I have heard of say it was the christians. They of course deny it. Find the librarian and ask them. Only way to KNOW for sure now.
