What do the peaople who win Oscar get?

They get the award and the fame that goes with it, but they also, I believe, get a "gift pack" backstage, which typically is worth a ridiculous amount of money. They usually have a lot of random "gifts" but if I recall correctly, one year one of the items was a madly expensive watch.

they get the Oscar to take home and to ask for more money on their next film becasue they are an oscar winner. There paycheck goes up up up after wining

Just the statue itself. But it is a very prestigious award. It pretty much garantees the recipient of the award more work. And the movie they worked on gets a bigger box office, rentals, and sales.

Considering they're all celebrities and have loads of money - it would be pretty unfair to give them cash prizes. Along w/ the trophy, they get the honor that comes with it.

aside from the fame and recognition, i think they take home trophies for that.Ü
