Are most of the people who post here from a foreign country or teenagers?
The reason I ask is the spelling is atrocious. If they're from a foreign country that's one thing but if they're from America...God save us all.
Altho', it's said, there is no such thing as a dumb question some are teetering on the edge.

Unfortunately, yes to the second part. And it's unfortunate not because I don't want to know what teenages think or understand, but because so many of the just want to mouth off. If you're a teenage, please think about your answers. This is nearly a good tool, but will never make it if every other question is about sex or "should I breakup with my bf...".

I am a foreigner to the Us but not a teenager, and yes the spelling from some people is really bad. We try our best to answer and ask in English. There are also native speaking English who can't spell as well, it really has nothing to do with foreign languages.

In foreign countries when they learn English as a second language, they learn in the right and there is no inflence on them by other people who is speaking it. First US doesnt have an official language, and second Americans are becoming to be worse than foreigners in speaking English. So most people who use half of the word as aword are mostly Americans. And I am a teenager, 16, and an exchange student in US.

There's no such thing as a dumb question, there's just inquisitive idiots. =]
I'm 15, and from the US. I'm awful at spelling, but I cannot stand when people intentionally use poor spelling or grammer. Short hand is okay, like "w/e", but when they start with the "bie" and such it drives me up the wall.

hey! I'm from foreign country. i spell better than most people because i am more preoccupied with learning how to speak english properly. I want to prove to myself that i can learn a new language without any difficulties. I speak 3 languages and a dialect. plus bad spelling isn't going to help me anyway!!! i don't want people poking fun at me because of misspelling words. I am also a teenager...(16)

This is Y! Answers ... worldwide. You THINK there might just be foreigners here?
I hope most of them are here to learn the language as well, while they pose their Qs. This goes for all foreigners, native speakers, teenagers and not-quite- teenagers.

I'm a teenager.
And i'm from the UK, so I suppose TECHNICALLY i'm from a foreign country. If you really wanna get specific, i'm from Wales, so I 'spose that means that the primary language of my country is Welsh.
Therefor, I reserve my rite 2 tipe lyke this.

That's a silly question ! Why teach American school children how to spell ? It's more important to teach them political correctness, tolerance for deviant behavior, and
"me-ology." Schools aren't for teaching kids skills they need in life, anymore !
