Why won't my files open in iTunes?
I just downloaded a album from a source other than the iTunes music store and I am trying to open it in iTunes. The files are .mp3 files, and about two thirds of them load into my iTunes library just fine. The others will open iTunes when I double click them, but they don't show in the library and iTunes just does nothing other than open (or switch to its window if it's already open). Any thoughts on this or possible solutions?
The format of the files is .mp3, which is clearly readable by iTunes... is there some other context to the word "format" that is not identified by the file extension?
