I am currently running Vista 64-bit and want to wipe my primary hard drive completely and install Vista 32-bit. I have run the Vista set up from within windows (it won't let me install when booting form the disk since windows is already installed, which seems stupid), and It still kept all the junk on my C drive I wanted to get rid of. I can't run dban because I have other storage drives that I want to retain. This is driving me crazy, there has got to be a way to just wipe the damn drive.

I'm sick of iTunes sucking my system resources. My computer is practically state of the art and it actually lags when I try to play a video podcast sometimes. Is there aanother client that can subscribe to video podcasts like Diggnation, Tikibar TV, Ask a Ninja, etc?

The controller works fine when plugged into any back USB port, and the front ports work fine with other devices, such as a thumb drive. I built the computer myself, so error in connecting them is certainly an issue, but I kind of feel like that can be ruled out since other devices work. The game controller is a Logitech Dual Action. Any thoughts?

I just downloaded a album from a source other than the iTunes music store and I am trying to open it in iTunes. The files are .mp3 files, and about two thirds of them load into my iTunes library just fine. The others will open iTunes when I double click them, but they don't show in the library and iTunes just does nothing other than open (or switch to its window if it's already open). Any thoughts on this or possible solutions?

I have a copy of Windows XP Professional on my hard drive (fully licensed, but I can't find the cd). The files are a .bin file, a .nfo file, and a .cue file, with the bulk of course being the .bin file. I will be wiping my hard drive and reinstalling, and so I need to be able to boot the clean system from cd-rom. Do I need to do anything special to make a bood cd, or can I just burn these files onto the disk?

I have a Dell Inspiron 4100 running XP SP2. I want to connect it to a widescreen monitor whose native resolution is 1680 x 1050. The only resolution options I see under my Display Properties are 800x600, 1024/768, 1280x1024, and 1400x1050. I don't need a resolution as high as 1680x1050, but I would like to have at least a 16:9 setting so that everything isn't stretched out. Is it possible to do this, or are my resolution options totally limitted by my graphics card?
