Can you become addicted to over the counter sinus pills?

I know that a lot of sinus meds include a drug that is a derivative of speed. Usually any drug that has the letters
-amine or -aphetamine listed on the end of the drug name has a chemical substance that "speeds" you up or can cause you to experience jitters, racing of the heart, and inability to slow/calm down.
A pharmacist once told me that sinus medications can make people feel a little euphoric and are therefore abused when the abuser cant get anything else that will make them feel "higher".
I think that people can become mentally addicted to just about anything, but phyiscally addicted is another thing.
One thing is for sure, taking more medication than recommended, either prescribed or over the counter WILL cause damage to your body in some way, shape, or form.

Anything that you feel uncontrollably drawn to can be considered an addicition. If you're asking if you can be chemically addicted, it's unlikely, but you can never rule out such a possibility. More likely, though, you'd be mentall addicted (you'd simply THINK you need them, when in reality, it's all just in your head).

Probably. Check the label. If you need them a long time, maybe you should see your doctor.
