Really "Something New?"?

The cast of "Something New" was on Oprah and said they were the first romance with a black woman and white man. What about "Guess Who?" Are there any other black woman/white man romances out there that you can think of?

Update:

Specifically -- movie (not tv) with black woman and white man. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner was a black man and white woman.

On the 1970s show the Jeffersons, an actor named Franklin Cover played Tom Willis, a neigbor who was a recurring character and was married to a black woman. I'm sure there have been others.

I would imagine that the first would have been Guess Who's Coming to Dinner which was made in 1967.

Guess Who?? was more of a comedy

    but there is

The Rich Man's Wife (with Halle Berry -more of a suspense/thriller)

Monster's Ball (again with Halle Berry - more of a Drama)

Off the top of my head I can think of Besieged (Thandie Newton, 1998), Flirting (also Thandie Newton, 1991) and Strange Days (i think) (Angela Bassett and Ralph Fiennes, 1995). It could be significant that only Strange Days was based in the US (perhaps, i don't really remember it).
