You need to get links from other websites to yours. Thats about it. The more related and highly ranked the linking website is, the better your rank will be.
I have the same problem. I don't even rank for the company name unless you put it in speech marks.

There are several things that effect the P.R. (or Page Rank) these are
1. The no. of link backs to your page.
Solution:- You can search for several websites which offer Link Exchanges and you can exchange links with them.
2. The content of the page should be optimized
3. The greater the Traffic the greater the page rank gets

Your ques isn't clear. There is no builtin ranking system with Internet Explorer.
