Do I need a plumber or an electrician?

My boiler has an issue that should be looked at today. Who should I contact?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Update:

Okay, the glass tube in he front of my electric boiler is leaking, and no matter how much I tighten the two nuts, It still leaks.I recently emptied the tank and refilled it.

Give rizzo822002 the 10 points I understand that he fixed your boiler over the phone from Iraq while fighting the bad guys.

is it a gas boiler or electric boiler. you can probably fix it yourself if you post up the specific problems and an accurate description of the situation. it's not rocket science.

    Plumber.

Also, it depends where you live. In many rural areas (like upstate NY) the plumber and the electrician are often the same person.
